Product Description

The Probe Sheath is used for measuring gas velocity, positive (impact) pressure and negative (wake) pressure, and temperature at sampling points. Connect to the metering console via an umbilical cable to start measuring temperature and pitot-tube pressures immediately.

Probe Sheath is frequently used together with a Probe Heater and a Probe Liner. The Probe Liner is inserted into the Probe Heater, and the Probe Heater is inserted into the Probe Sheath. The nozzle is attached to both the Probe Sheath and Probe Liner.

The Probe Sheath will be inserted into the sampling porthole on the smoke-stack. as part of a sampling train for stack testing. Move the Probe Sheath (with nozzle installed) along the calculated sampling points to traverse the smoke-stack.
